(There is an opportunity to run after the cycle session if you choose to do so). 15 minutes cycle warm up 10 minutes cycling drills 45 minutes main session, L5 power intervals 10 minutes cool down Bring your bike and a turbo, if you don’t have a turbo you can borrow one on the night. Children are also welcome at this session (bikes and turbo provided), so bring the youngsters. Children are currently doing cycle sessions around Pennington Flash on trails.

Saturday:

08:30AM SATURDAY MORNING TRAIL RUN FROM TES. Meet at shop, route to be decided on the morning, distance 9-12 miles. Post on Facebook if you are running.

4:00PM TRI TEAM WIGAN SATURDAY SWIM SESSION, Hindley pool in Wigan. Arrive 3:45pm. 

Sunday:

08:30 SUNDAY RIDE FROM THE STAG: A flat 56 miles route for this Sunday, looping out to Croston and then to St Helens, CLICK HERE to see the route.

Open water swimming at 3 Sisters Waterski, this week’s session, 6X200m, 10X100m, 6X50m, novice/technique group will focus on streamlining.

Cycling: The Foxes, Hounds and Chicks & Chaps Ride

Group 1: Chicks and Chaps, will leave TES at 6:20pm
Group 2: Foxes, will leave TES at 6:30pm

Group 3: Hounds, will leave TES at 6:35pm

If you prefer not to ride this as a chain gang then we encourage you to ride it solo as a time trial or with a partner, simply turn up and use it as a cycle training opportunity! Solo riders should leave between 6:20pm – 6:30pm, the hounds will be chasing, so you need to try and stay ahead…

Tri Team Wigan Friday night turbo session starts 6:30pm at Leigh Sports Village. This session will now focus on cycle training as opposed to cycling and track running. (There is an opportunity to run after the cycle session if you choose to do so).

Sunday

No planned ride Sunday due to IMUK. There will be many HUB members gathering on Hunter’s Hill to watch the race. Please post on Facebook if you are planning to ride 8:00am from the Stag, suggest route towards Southport to avoid road closures and stopping at Hunter’s Hill (ride up Stoney Lane from Parbold to access).

Sunday’s ride is a 60 miler, leaving the Stag at 8:00am. It’s a relatively flat route heading out to the coast so the speed should be easy…for those preparing for upcoming races, TT bike are welcome

Sunday’s ride is a 57 miler, leaving the Stag at 8:00am. It starts by heading to Pennington Flash and picking up IMUK route. From here it heads to Horwich to climb Anglezarke, picks up the old IMUK route and heads out to Croston before returning back to base. You can see the full route by CLICKING HERE
